What is Elon Musk’s Greatest Invention so far?

Fortunately for each of us and for all of humanity as a whole, great minds are born in every century and the lives of all people are significantly improved as a result of their work. Ever since Archimedes and Thales of Miletus who lived several centuries before Christ, until today these fantastic people have come up with new and new discoveries and inventions.

The 20th and 21st centuries are not far behind, we could even say that we live in an era of the greatest discoveries so far in human history. The beginning of the 20th century was marked by Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein, Marie Curie, and many others. At the end of the 20th century, we come to the incredible development of technologies for which Bill Gates, Tim Berners-Lee, Steve Jobs, etc. are responsible.

And if we talk about the greatest innovators of the 21st century, one name imposes itself before all others. And that’s Elon Musk. Year after year, Elon Musk delights us with his inventions and becomes the Tesla of our time. Read what is Elon Musk’s greatest invention so far, as well as something more about him and his other inventions.

Who is Elon Musk?

We all know that he is one of the greatest, if not the single greatest innovator of our time. But most people don’t even know the basics of his personal life.

He was born in 1971 to a Canadian mother and South African father. He lived in Pretoria for the first 17 years, after which he moved to Canada and enrolled at Queen’s University. He later continued his education at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned two degrees, in economics and physics.

Today, he is the CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and several other world-famous companies, which he found.

He has been married twice and is now in a relationship with Amber Heard. He has seven children.

The greatest invention so far

It was very difficult to single out one of his inventions as the greatest so far. We could put at least a few of them in this place. Here we primarily mean Tesla Motors, PayPal, and hyperloop.

Still, in our opinion, Starlink deserved to carry the title of Musk’s greatest invention so far.

Starlink is a satellite internet constellation designed, launched, and maintained by Musk’s company SpaceX. SpaceX is also famous for starting to use reusable rockets and thus significantly reducing the cost of space travel.

Yet, we think Starlink has the greatest impact on humanity. The Internet is no longer a luxury but a necessity and must therefore be made accessible to all people. But currently, only 3 to 4 billion people have regular internet access, and we know that there are over 7 million people on the planet.

This is exactly the problem Musk wanted to solve with his Starlink project. By creating a satellite internet constellation using small satellites that he places in low orbit, he wants high-speed internet to be available to just about everyone. And he is well on his way to making that project a success. Over a thousand satellites have already been launched, and new satellites are constantly being launched, which you can follow on the Internet or even see with the naked eye.

In the end, the goal is to launch more than 30,000 satellites, which will then surely cover the entire planet with high-speed internet.

This will bring tremendous progress to all people and countries, especially those in development. It will provide them with education, business opportunities, as well as entertainment. Precisely because of such a far-reaching positive impact, we decided to single out Starlink. As well as because it is completely Musk’s idea, while for example, many other companies such as Ford and Volvo are working on the creation of autonomous vehicles, and not only Tesla.

Other notable inventions

We would need three separate articles to explain all his ideas, inventions, and plans in more detail, but here are a few more most notable ones.

Autonomous cars – Musk’s company Tesla and their work on autonomous vehicles brought him worldwide popularity. Although other car manufacturers are working on it as well, no one has reached that level. We see Tesla cars more and more often on the street and the level of complete vehicle autonomy will surely be reached in the next few years.

Hyperloop – Musk is thinking about different types of transport, so at the same time it is working on improving autonomous vehicles, making space travel cheaper, but also on something called hyperloop. It is a transportation system that is based on something similar to a rail system. But all this would be located in special tubes with low air pressure and such conditions would allow “trains” to achieve very high speeds. It will be cheaper and faster than flights, but it is not close to become reality because of the very expensive infrastructure.

PayPal – PayPal is the world’s most famous online payment system, so we don’t need to explain in more detail. Musk founded PayPal in 1999 and thus became one of the pioneers of online payment.

Blastar – Blastar is a video game that Musk created when he was only 12 years old. Probably even then, at least one of his professors could conclude that Musk is a genius who will change the world. Although the game did not achieve popularity, it is still very notable because he was so young when he created it. Blaster seems very interesting from a video gaming perspective during the 80s, but he probably just needed the help of someone like inventhelp to know how to launch it the right way.

When we look at all these Musk’s inventions so far, we can only be happy that he is only 50 years old and that he still has many productive years ahead of him. One of his main plans for the future is to colonize Mars and advance all current inventions. And we believe that he will surprise us with something new that we can’t even imagine at the moment. So future looks bright because we have Elon Musk.
